Plinky - The New Bloggers Training Wheels
I was playing with www.plinky.com late last night before I hopped the train to DC. It is really neat. I think it will make the habit of blogging so much easier. It is like blogging training wheels. I think with the cool widgets that it allows me to post it will become way more than just a blogger tricycle as it moves through beta. I’m a believer.

NYC Music Venue of Choice: Webster Hall
Granted my exposure to true music halls outside of NYC is a bit limited. Webster Hall is my sentimental favorite.
It is across the street from @willcole ‘s apt so we can just walk across the street to shows. Saw Dr. Dog there recently and the show was great. Great bands, smaller venue and a fun mix of a hipster vibe with the NYU crowd. First concert I ever went to there was...
Re: Bush Twins Advice for Sasha and Malia
I just read the letter in the WSJ that the Bush twins wrote to Sasha and Malia Obama. It was a sweet note and is yet another example of how uniquly civil and seamless the exchange of power is in the United States.
The final paragraph in the Jenna and Barbara’s letter certainly hit home for me. While I cannot begin to imagine what it is like to endure the daily criticism they endured about...

The Blue Van - Silly Boy
I have had this song stuck in my head since it came out on that commercial. Lucky for me Will has the Shazam iphone app on his phone so we could figure out the title.
And we have a new President. What a beautiful and seemless exchange of power.
Watching the Australian Open, cheering for the Americans and for Federer to tie Sampras in titles. Could go for some of Sydney’s weather
Working on my blog and getting new email accounts set up for the campaign.

Just pulling into NYC
Trying to get out of DC is proving more difficult than it should be.
Meeting up with a gentleman from www.worldbank.org about Climate Change/Environmental projects. Should be interesting.
Slumdog Millionnaire was great. Now thinking about dinner with Joe, Chloe and @willcole. Clydes perhaps?
Drinking Diet Coke with Mom and Dad at the Capitol Hill Club.
Ikea furniture = Impossible assembly
Yet another trip to Ikea. Why do I feel like this is not the last one this month?
Playing Kung Fu Panda on XBox. I am terrible.
Watched the 111th Congress get sworn in. Now in the room where John Quincy Adams died.
My mom is snoring… And this is why I am still awake.
Getting starbucks with @willcole. Then more apt shopping.
I do not care how hard or soft the mattress I sleep on is. If I have to lay on beds in one more furniture store I am going to pull my ha …
At Reagan waiting to pick up Dad. Apartently his dog ate his glasses this morning so we’ll see if he can see me.
